This is my Blanc, a male bat character from the Sonic universe. I created and designed this guy a few years ago, but I've lost the original picture since then. I was originaly gonna call him Noir but that name is used for Rouge's fanmade mother. He was going to be black, as you'd imagine from a name like Noir, but I think I'll make this guy's fur white, to go with his name.

This picture has come out well, IMO, but they are a few things that bug me, such as the arms, hands and wings. Ah well, I've haven't done a sketch in a while. =]

Hm, I think I'll critique this! Let's see.....

Yikes, those biceps are huge! Tone them down a bit, they look way too big for that size body.

On the hands, you just need practice. It'll come eventually.

Wings. First of all, I know it's from the sonic universe, and that wings there are quite small. But honestly, those things would NEVER be more than decoration. If this guy is supposed to be able to fly, those wings need to be bigger. And also, the style you used for them makes them look very rigid, and I advise that you learn a better style if you want them to really look good.

I like wings.

I kinda added the wings later cuz I forgot about them during the initial drawing. Plus there isn't enough room on the page to do proper wings so I did what I could be bothered to do. =P If I had more room on the page, I would have down them better. I kinda agree with you about the biceps. I thought they looked alright to begin with, but they are a bit big. I haven't had much practice drawing muscles. Thanks for the constructive critisism there, dude. =]

No problem, I'll criticize you again like that once I finally get around to it.

That doesn't sound like a good thing. Sounds like a threat. :( Perhaps you could have reworded it.
:iconsonicfanguy:
Well, it wasn't. It's just saying the next time around I'll give you some more constructive criticism and advice.
